Deceptive billing practices and overcharging

This company's billing practices are deceptive. I received a note on Sep 10 telling me my service contract was being reviewed.

No amount was given, nor did I receive a new contract. Today (approximately 40 days later), my checking account was charged $563.76. I did not authorize this. It also represents the third year in a row of large annual price increases for no changes in service, with no actual services having been needed or performed.

A 49% increase is outrageous. Also, when I called to ask that they reverse the charge, they told me I would be charged a prorated portion for the 40 days of approximately $62.00.

I do not recommend this company to anyone. Beware!

Very bad customer service on phone. ( could hardley understand agents speaking Englsih on phone) and veryh negat4ive responses to my questions.ts

I called for service and was not to happy with answer of (No coverage on my Basic Heating Plan) Had a very tough time understanding agent speaking English, They finally hung up phone on me and nothing was resolved about fixing my furnace. I will cancell water heater rental and basic heating which i pay $60.00 a month for.

Incompetence

Called for central air not working pivotal home solutions said it would be 7 days before we would see the service company out here and would call me about who to expect. After 2 days I Called them and they told me to call a company that services industrial boilers now its 10 to14 days before I'll see a service provider maybe if I am lucky.

I am going to look for a new home warranty company then cancel pivotal home nightmares. Pivotal home solutions also replaced the furnace and AC ,BUT would not cover the ac unit because the contractor didn't record the serial number of the old ac unit after removal and replacement.

Rejected claim

I have been paying Pivotal Home Solutions for years thinking my gas line to my house would be covered. A gas leak was discovered from the shut off to the meter.

I contacted them to get the line replaced. After they contacted one of their contractors I was told the gas line was not covered.

This came as a shock to me because I was never informed about the coverage prior to today. I will be cancelling them.

I was only scheduled to work at one motor that day, at her property but she tried to abuse her power by forcing me to give her free things and work on another garage after I already fixed it she then went on Google and said lies about me claiming aint didnt fix anything Im never in my 10 years had a client that was so entitled or didnt like me being straightforward with her, I eventually had to call the police because I didnt feel safe there since her and her cousins were ganging up on me.

Not returning my reimbursement

Their subcontractor didn't fix the problem, plus stated things on invoice to what he did and he did not. Had to call a local plumber and pay it out of pocket.

Was told to receive my refund,but keep getting a run around.

It's been 4 mths and nothing. When I resolve this with BBB I will surely cancel them.

Horrible Service People

I just had my annual gas heating system cleaning with a contractor provided by AHS. Not only did he do a subpar job, but he also informed me that my heating system wouldn't turn on and that I needed to call for service.

He informed me that he could not perform the service as he was hired solely to clean it. I called AHS and they supposedly set up a repair appointment with the same company. I called this company about the repair and he told me he was too busy to do my repair, and that I needed to call AHS back. I called AHS back and then another company called me to set up an appointment.

The service person called me on the day of the appointment to indicate he was on his way 'to clean my heat system'. I informed him that it had already been cleaned and that this service call was for repair. So he sent one of his people over to check out my heat system. Long story short, the repair guy informed me that the main control panel for the heating unit was not functioning and that the part I needed was no longer available, as my heating unit is 30 years old.

He informed me that I would need a new gas burner and gave me an estimate of $9,505.00. This was not the first time this kind of issue has occurred with contractors supplied by AHS. (Note: 2 years ago, the person that came out to clean my heat system informed me that the unit was emitting too much CO. He then shut down my heating system and told me I needed a new one.

I hired a different contractor that I paid for out of my own pocket. He informed me that the system only needed a couple of minor adjustments, which he made. He then spent the next half hour checking readings and all was well. Meanwhile, the original contractor sent me an estimate for over $10,000 for a new gas burner.) With this previous experience in mind, I made another appointment with a different service contractor, knowing that I would again have to pay out of pocket.

He came out yesterday and examined my unit. He disassembled the bottom part and pointed out that whoever cleaned it had done a poor job, as there was still lint, etc. in the jets. This service person cleaned the unit for me.

He then discovered that the only problem with the system was a faulty ignition wire. He went and bought a new wire to replace the malfunctioning one, and now my heating system is working wonderfully. I am utterly done with AHS, and am cancelling my contract that costs me $575.76 per year.

What is the purpose of paying for a service contract if the necessary service cannot be provided? I am extremely dissatisfied with this company right now.

Nine years paying for the service, never sowed up when I need it

My heater broke when was 11 degrees outside, my house was freezing, called open a claim they said will sending someone next day, wait the entire day never sowed up. Next day technician called me and said will be there wait the all day, never show. I have been paying Pivotal Solutions "service" for 9 years!

Have to call a private company they came right away and gave me a good deal on a new unit.

Called the SCAMMERS and cancelled the subscription.

Horrible company with lousy customer service

The company changed my account and tried to bill my old credit card. I spent over 4 hours on the phone trying to get someone to change it.

I emailed the CEO three times, and finally, someone returned my call - she was useless and said someone else would call me. Three weeks later, I received a letter stating I had cancelled the lease and owed them approximately $1200.00 for a leased 40-gallon water heater.

I never cancelled the lease! I spent another 6 hours, on and off hold (when they hung up), and I still have not been able to speak to anyone in their leasing department.

Delaying and Denial of Valid Claim - Beware Buyers

I signed up for a power surge warranty ($10,000) since March of 2022. i had a power surge that wiped out some appliances and other electronic devices.

I filed a claim with Oncourse Home Solutions, and they told me that I had to get my own electrician or qualified professional to come and validate the claim with the equipment/appliances that were faulty. It took me a couple of weeks to do this as well as I was required to pay for all the replacements. I submitted all the paperwork into Oncourse and on August 8, 2024. They told me at first it would take 4-6 weeks from the day I submitted the claim.

On September 25th, I receive an email stating they needed the electrician's contact number in which I responded to them shortly with the phone number by email. I called on October 1st to learn that not only was my case denied but it was closed. They had closed my case on September 30th. I have tried several times to contact the claims department but they have no phone number and the only way you can reach them is by email.

Even their front representatives cannot contact them through phone. This is terrible service and I have done everything they have asked of me. I feel this company is a hoax and beware!!! I have tried to speak to a supervisor, and they state there is no supervisor on site.

I was told if I cancel my service now that I would negate my claim which I don't understand if I have paid for this service when my power surge went out, why would this not be covered from that coverage period. Again I feel this company is a hoax because all they want to do is sell you a plan and when you have a claim, they wait a long period of time to respond and then give you the run around while you are still paying for a plan.

I plan on getting my legal counsel involved in this at this point. Do not do business with this company because they are misleading and do not follow through on their contracts.

It's a fight to get them to do their jobs!

This company's contracted repair person wouldn't return my calls or the company's calls, so I was told to have my own contractor complete the job. It took over a month for them to tell me I could hire my own contractor, so my water line continued to leak into my basement for an unnecessary amount of time.

Even after being told I could hire my own contractor, I was given conflicting information about the process. I had to pay $12,345.90 out of pocket. Once the water line was fixed, and I submitted my documentation, it took 2 weeks for them to partially reimburse me. It took 3 months after that of me continuously calling, hours on the phone, getting conflicting information, and me threatening to sue them for me to finally get my full reimbursement.

The whole process took around 5 months. It's not worth the money and time spent fighting this company to get them to fulfill their end of the contract.

I have been trying to call PHS and I never get my issues resolved ever. They always give me the run around.

What company uses a Gmail account such as emailphs@***l for real this weird. Definitely need to get out of this contract.

Do not do business with Pivotal Home Solutions.

Unable to get through to them

The same thing happened last year. Trying to schedule my contracted inspection.

Unable to get through to anyone. Never got to schedule last year because I dont have days to wait on hold.

Used them once since i purchased my home. The service guy never showed. It was below freezing.

Had to go days without heat. Told to call outside vendor.
